Don’t miss David “The Bullet” Smith…”The Human Cannonball” at this year’s Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show & Balloon Festival. David is one of the most sought after, and recognizable, stuntmen in the world today. If you have seen the Tim Burton movie “Big Fish” and remember the circus scene with the human cannonball, that was David. He also appeared on the TV series GLEE, America’s Got Talent (Season 7) and America’s Got Talent EXTREME, “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno, numerous NASCAR Events, The Vans Warped Tour, and episodes on the Discovery Channel. Chances are, you’ve seen him at work on the internet or on television.
David Smith Jr. is the highest flying Human Cannonball in the world today! He holds 6 Guinness World Records with the highest cannon shot and the farthest cannon shot, breaking his own World Record four times!
David has been a human cannonball since 19 years old. He has performed over 10,000 cannon shots in fifteen countries. As a second generation human cannonball, the thrill is in his blood! Taking over the cannon from his father, David Sr., at 19, David has been a professional Human Cannonball ever since having performed some of the world’s most daring human cannonball stunts.
He has performed over 9000 shows around the globe. From breaking the world distance record early in his career, to blasting over obstacles such as Ferris Wheels and concert stages. He even blasted over part of the Grand Canyon. He currently holds six Guinness World Records for the highest cannonball shot and farthest cannonball shot, breaking his own record three times.
